Yep I'm in the middle of learning a lot. Couple of years back I bought a
white trailer. At the time Pace made a real black streak remover. It was
horsepower stuff. Had to work small areas at a time and the area better be
well ventilated as it would take your breath away. But the stuff worked!!!

Recently I ran out so this time I bought 2 bottles. Little did I know they
changed the formula. Now it smells sort of citrus, is pale yellowish orange
and doesn't work for squat. Really a waste of time, effort, and money.

So before I make another bad purchaser what are most people using? I need
something that works!

Spray Power liquid from Wal-Mart in the household cleaning agent section. It
works beautifully and I do a 32' fifth-wheel! Spray it on a dry surface,
wipe it off with a soft cloth and rinse the cloth as necessary. No hard
rubbing or buffing. You will want to wax it after you wash the unit good.
It's cheap and effective . . . unlike many of the "black streak remover"
advertised products. Cleans up the awning marks, etc.

I've tried almost all of the "black streak removers" and haven't been happy with
any of them...

Then, several folks in the good sam forum recommended "Awesome" general cleaner,
sold in most 99 cent stores...
The stuff really is awesome, not only on the trailer but around the house, shop,
etc...
Does a great job getting sap off of saw blades and tables, too..

No idea, but here's a semi-related tip.

If you've got a 20 year old Coleman pop-up with paint that still looks
pretty good, don't use Castrol Super Clean. I did that a couple of years
ago and now have a large area on the back side of the camper with no paint
at all. Oops. The aluminum really shines in the sun... I'm thinking of
stripping all of the paint and polishing it. ;-)

Not quite.

In order for it to become and Airstream, he'd also have to install about
a million rivets and let it stand outside during at least two, bad hail
storms, then maybe...  (With apologies to Wally)

Black Streak remover from Wal-Mart.  works good, but need a bit of elbow
power.

I've been told that PVC chair cleaner is also good...
