There was a Danish pop-up flop-over trailer that was imported into the US
for a little while. It may still be imported into Canada. Does anyone
remember the name of this trailer?

I asked this same question several years ago and have lost the info.

Thanks
Whit

If you asked the question and got an answer in this same newsgroup, go to
http://groups.google.com and search on some of the key words from your
original post, should pull it right up for you.

Took me about 2 minutes to find this:

I saw one of those in a campground a couple of weeks ago.  My spouse
took a look and spoke to the owners.  It looked nice.  According to the
owners, it only weighs 300 pounds.

Thank you for the help. In the future I will search rather than asking.

On the other hand, I didn't know about those Danish pop-ups and learned
something!

Wouldn't a Danish pop-up be a Pop-Tart?  ;)

The Danish Pop-up was imported into the US for a short while. I actually
saw one at a dealer's home in Portland, OR in the early 1990s. They have
made some significant changes since then, but the basic unit
construction hasn't changed. It was a snap to set up! One person could
do it in under 4 minutes without rushing. That didn't include staking
the corners either.

Also, I was told there was a Canadian dealership, but they don't seem to
exist anymore, either.

There might be a few on the used market. I'll be first in line!!

Exactly...it's not always bad to have questions asked...

Ok, so I thought this was a good post and subsquant thread.  Much
better than the spam thread!

I am always interested in what others a pulling and seeing if we can
save weight and gas.

I think this is a cool little "pop-tart" and would be interested in
seeing one at a dealrship.  Has anyone seen them state side?  How do
they compare in cost to something like the T@B or some of the other
SMALL trailers.
