Hi all,

I was wonder if anyone would have a good idea as to what a 1996
Coleman Sun Valley might be worth?   It has a 12 foot box, air, heater
and is in good shape with the exception of 2 tears in the canvas
(vinyl I guess) at the top end over one of the beds (by the seam, I
was told).   With the exception of a couple of pictures I have not
seen the camper yet as it is located 3 hours from me.   I guess I am
just wondering what people might feel this unit is worth and any
opinions on the camper would also be good.

This would be our 3rd pop-up if we buy it, although it has been 5 or 6
years since we have owned one.

Any help would be appreciated
Thanks
David

Thanks for the reply.

I know I am in Canada and our dollar is a little different (not just
looking) but these NADA prices seem very low.

Any other opinions on the value of this unit?

Thanks again

Brakes? Bearings and races last serviced? Tires?....
If you've owned them before, you have an idea what to look for..last year I
paid 3k for a ''98 Rockwood - in exceptional shape.

It had a tear in the vinyl, but it had only been opened four times and the
guy tore it in closing (glue and thread and material from my breathable
waders did the trick).

It's worth whatever you or someone else will pay for it...I'm a lot of
help,eh?

Hi,
You want to pay more?  Depending upon what it has as options somewhere
between $2500 and $3000 US would seem to be a fair price IF everything
works AND there is no major damage.   Do a Google search for 1996
Coleman Sun Valley and check out the options and prices for those you
find online.  The tears or rips or holes in the canvas, probably not
vinyl but canvas, and the canvas general overall condition is what I
would be concerned about.  A new canvas can cost a few dollars.  The AC
and heater working would matter too.

Take care and Happy Campin...

Those values are probably high. a 96 Sun Valley has the dreaded ABS
roof. Goggle search this group and at www.popupexplorer.com to learn
about the shortcoming of this roof.
