1982 Lionel - Crank Won't Lock

I just purchased a 1981 Lionel tent trailer. I put it up successfully a few
weeks ago but now it will not stay up. The lock beside the crank handle
sounds like it clicks into place but it doesn't catch. Is there a place to
buy new crank systems? Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Shawn

Thanks, I will try that but the lock is enclosed by a gear box which is also
connected to the bar of the winch. I will let you know.

You should have some safety posts..so the top won't come crashing down if
the lock fails...
