Ive been googling for this info last few days with no luck. I have a
Fairlake that lacks the high pressure stove.
Next week Im going to be camping for 2 weeks with the famlily and want
something that is going to usable and faster
then that dang slow low pressue stove.
Looking in my garage I found a coleman 424 and 425b gas stoves which
researching do 11,500 BTU on the high burner.
I also have a coleman camp (never used) oven Im gonna try out based on some
of the people who seemed to enjoy theirs.
Im curious (what im not able to find) as to what BTU the low pressure stove
is. If its comparable to the liquid fuel colemans
I have or if those are at least twice the BTU of the low pressure.
If I need too I may run out and get one of those camp chef's (someone was
loving their dl-60 30,000 BTU x 2 in an older post).
When I have the time before I go I may try to setup my pop up and boil water
on the indoor and also Coleman 242 to see
what an improvement it is.. But if anyone could give me some info It would
also be appreciated.
Thanks in advance for any feedback.. Its nice to have somewhere else to turn
when the info you want is not available.

Both the coleman stoves I own were given to me in previous years one way or
anothera 424 dual and 425e.
Camping on the creek's and at campground's I usualy use the fire with cast
iron and / or oven bags.
Right now both my coleman stoves are fired up in my garage for their first
times.
Wow I am impressed. I never expected this kind of Flame (looks just like
the high pressure stove in my friends camper).
I see no reason to use the low pressure stove again, its almost like a
teaser... Coleman should have just given us all these great green grills
they make.
Sorry for my lack of experience, was just looking for input into something
I was not experienced with before trying to use.
Thanks
