Can anyone recommend a nice RV Park in Jacksonville, Fla. that accommodates
larger coaches?
Thanks,
Joe

You might want to check this one out!  While never staying there it has
been highly recommended. It is a private park and has some restrictions.

Our local State Parks also have some great places also!  I just stayed
at Fort Clinch which is just North of Fernandina and it had 30 amp
service, water but no sewer connection.  I had a 35' MH and had no problem.

Understand there is another close by in St Augustine where I am planning
on going this week to check out.  Hope you enjoy one of them and
Jacksonville.

Hi,

Try Hanna City Park just north of Jacksonville Beach.  They have
around 400 sites and some are 90 feet long drive throughs.

I think that the Hanna park is one of the best I've stayed at for the price.
About 1 block from the ocean, nice lots seperated by tree, etc..

Hanna Park
(http://www.coj.net/Departments/Parks+and+Recreation/Recreation+Activities/Hanna+
Park/default.htm
)
is nice but a bit crowded. It's close to the beach. They do have
pull-through sites and all include sewer hookups, according to the web site.

We just returned from Anastasia State Park in St. Augustine, if you're
looking for beach parks in that region. Quite nice but no sewer hookups and
none are pull-through, I don't think. Check www.ReserveAmerica.com for
campground name 'anastasia' for details.
