Hi folks

My wife and I are brand new to this life.

In fact we are so new that we are picking up our first rv tomorrow, a 5th
wheel.

We are anxious to get it on the road after the 4th

Looking forward to meeting some of you folks out there

You may want to look at rec.outdoors.rv-travel  group.  Spend some time
reading last week or so worth of posts (there will be a lot).  Learn by
lurking first.  Note OT means off topic and is like BS around a campfire.
There are some very knowledgeable folks in there as well as some folks with
cases of recto-cranial inversions.
This group tends to stay on topic (of post) but is much less active.

Hi Larry and Connie

Hope you enjoy the RV lifestyle!  It is fun and the more you do the
less you want to go back home.  Rv'ng allows you to meet a lot of nice
people while on the road, and believe it or not there are a lot of nice
people on rec.outdoors.rv-travel even though it does not sound like it
some times.  Happy Trails

Welcome to the group Larry & Connie;  You'll enjoy RVing and lots of
information is out there.  I'm not a rep, but we use Happy Camper:
http://www.camphalfprice.com/ Lots of great parks and a great forum too.

Best of luck to you both.  May I recommend some reading material PRIOR
to getting out there?  Here are some URLs to help you get started.

Food for thought to assist you in getting started by being prepared.
Many other articles of interest are available at RVers ONLINE -

and...Happy Travelin'.

Tell us a little about what you bought and what you are using to tow
it. Also, where you are planning on using it.

I'm on my 5th RV in 35 years, but 2 of those were van campers I owned
at the same time I owned travel trailers.
