There already are groups dedicated to the Class B. I can't see any real
need to start another one.

That would spread the information more thinly in more locations, making it
all harder to find. This news group and RORT is a good example, where there
is a lot of redundancy and cross posting

Would you please provide the name of one of those newsgroups that are
dedicated to the Class B.

Not usenet NG's, but maybe of interest:

Yahoo Auto Groups: classic B vans and Dodge camper vans, neither very
active.  There's a very active group for  Van Dwellers (more 'living in
a car' oriented).  There are varying levels of activity in roadtrek,
roadtrek1, pleasureway, and (I think) other brand-specific yahoo groups.

www.RV.net's Open Roads Forums has an active forum specifically for
Camping Van Conversions, and several for more general RVing topics.

My own feeling would be that there's little need for more B-oriented
'newsgroups' when most of the  various forums for B vans are
underutilized as it is.  A site needs a certain 'critical mass'  of
participation to be successful.

There's a good start. You can also try a search engine with the search term
"Class B forum" in it.

This newsgroup can give you a lot of discussion that is applicable to the
Class B. It doesn't even have to "B" specific to be useful.
