If you can't make the decision on your own, how can we decide for you?
There are so many different models, floor plans, prices, materials,
workmanship and type of motorhomes, that no one but YOU could make that
decision.
In addition to the above differences, you also have to include in your
decision the resale value, maintenance costs, service and many other
variables. Even then, you won't be totally happy. There are "give and
takes" in every RV. For example: When you buy a big rig, you give up a
few campsites/campgrounds that you can't fit into. Or, you buy a Class
C because of the ease of maintenance, but you give up the
power/reliability of a 350 HP diesel.
It doesn't matter which RV you buy, you'll always wish it had a certain
option/function, just buy one.

Hank, if you read my post again, you will notice I only presented two
coaches. I was not asking blindly about all class A coaches or for someone
to make a decision for me.
For example someone clued me in that the Independence was built on an 18,000
pounds chassis versus the Hurricane on a 20,500 pounds chassis.
Thanks for your time anyways.

The point I was trying to make is that no matter what one RV has over
the other (18,000 lb chassis vs 20,500 lb chassis, or any other little
thingy), there will always be a "give and take" situation.
Using your chassis load comparison is a prime example. Altho one is
built on a stronger chassis, doesn't mean it is better, or even better
for YOU. If the chassis is 2500 lbs stronger but the body/interior
et.al. is 3000 lbs heavier, what have you accomplished? In addition, it
may use more fuel, less dependable etc.

I suggest that you spend $100 at www.rv.org to help in your decision
making.
