Hello,
we're planning to spend a week in Maine later this month, camping in
our tent trailer. We have three children - girl of 16, boy of 14, boy
of 10. Can anyone recommend 1) a campground that would offer activities
for kids of these ages, and 2) an area of Maine that is close to ocean,
shopping and family activities (given that we only have a week, we
don't want to move around)?
I guess KOA would be an option. I've also heard about Good Sam, but
can't see what they have in Maine without joining!
Greatly appreciate any help you can give!
Thanks - Gillian

Searsport Shores near Belfast, Grays near Boothbay Harbor, and
Lobster Buoy CG south of Camden.

Check out Hermit Island. This was our most favorite campsite when we were
camping with our kids
