If any of the rort group is even thinking about needing
tires in the next few months, best hurry up. With high
petroleum prices comes price increases in all the stuff made
from it. I gotta "feeling" we are going to see some
fantastic price increases in the next few months and they
will include some strange items.

No, I didn't mark this OT 'cause it ain't <g>.

Not only tires but let's think about the word 'plastic' and then shudder.

Damn!!!  Does that mean we'll have to start making cars from steel and glass
Again.
That means we'll have to start up those old dirty steel mills and glass
factories
again.
Seriously, i made my living in a glass and steel refractories plant making
furnaces
for the glass industry and liners and skid blocks for steel furnaces.
Partly because of plastics the business suffered for the last few years.

Do not count on that, the pressure to reduce weight will become more intense
as the automotive industry will be forced to produce more fuel-efficient
vehicles, because gas will remain high from here on in.

Could this be a cure for erectile dysfunction?
Must be a plot by Bob Dole.
