Specialty Campgrounds

I have noticed that a few 'specialty" campgrounds have been popping up.
They didn't start out as "special", they just got that way. I have been
to "ATV" campgrounds, "golf cart" campgrounds, "water park"
campgrounds, "horse riding"campgrounds and etc.

So, my questions are: What types have you seen? What is the most
common? What are the rarest?

Also, how many people take a golf cart or other "in park" mode of
transportation with them?

The most common are "Textile Campgrounds" in which everyone is required
to abide by a Victorian dress code and a long list of other silly
social taboos -- no matter what else they do.

The rarest type of campground is so rare that it has no accepted name.
These are the places with no rules at all beyond, "Conduct yourself so
as not to harm your fellows or your fellows' property."  So far as I
know, there are none in these United States -- although a few come
close.

Dunno, but a lot of people take bicycles.

:-)

Jenny <~~~~~likes about 150 of them

Shes refering to places you can run naked and do other "wild" things.

Wow! I just figured out that I must be naive. I was wondering what you
meant in your reply, then I read the other posters response. Are you
talking about nudist's camps?

I can't ever see me camping at one of those without chasing eveyone
away...LOL. Now I am curious, but not enough to go to one. Is it
possible I could stumble into one of these?

No, you're just abysmally ignorant.

No.  I said the most common type of camp requires draped cloth in the
Victorian style and has lots of other rules too.  I said the least
common type of camp has only one rule, namely "Conduct yourself so as
not to harm your fellows or your fellows' property."

Neither description applies to nudist places.

Why would you chase others away?  That seems rather unkind of you.

> Now I am curious, but not enough to go to one.

That's probably best for all concerned.

> Is it possible I could stumble into one of these?

It's possible, but you wouldn't be allowed inside.  Nudist places have
high standards.

> Hank <~~~old, fat, bald, ...

Like millions of others.  That's hardly unusual.

>... ugly ...

You seem very insecure.

>... filthy...

Wash frequently.

But poor in spirit.

I hope you're being facetious because I am.

I wasn't because I assumed you weren't.

However, it appears that you're unusual here.

Hank, nudists don't care what you look like
ninebal310@aol.com - 26 Sep 2005 23:55 GMT
I would hope not if I ever go to one. Really, I don't understand the
point of making a big deal out of either wearing or not wearing
clothes. I am the kind of guy who don't really care what the other guy
does, so long as it doesn't me or my friends/family.

I would probably like the campgrounds that has the belief that
everything is ok, so long as you don't harm a person or property. As a
matter of fact, that seems to be a good rule to live by.

You sound like an OK human being after all.
