The RV parks in the above states really filled up after Rita and Katrina
with folks fortunate enough to have a mobile apartment to live in while
their permanent residence dried out. We had to park in a Walmart a couple
of times in Arkansas the last time we went up that way (During Rita I
think).
Anybody know if the load has gone down any? I am talking about the $20
overnight parks, not the snowbird or big family stays. Would like to
cruise up through the Ozarks this fall but don't really want to overnight
at the big W - it's difficult to find a power pedistal:)

Take a look at the Corps of Engineers and State Park campgrounds in OK and
AR. I've stayed in both and they meet your requirements. Do a Google
search for both.
