Hello -

I am "The Appliance Guy" and I wanted to bring a product to your
attention that is quickly becoming a "must have" item within the RV
community.  It is the Edgestar portable ice maker!  I sell these units
on a daily basis to RV owners across the United States and they love
them!  The unit will make and store up to 2.5 pounds of ice anywhere
that you can plug it into a regular power source (power requirements:
115 Volts / 60 Hertz, 400 Watts, 3.48 Amps) and fill it with one gallon
of water.  Within minutes you will see your first ice cubes which may
be dispensed in three different sizes.  Once full, if you were to empty
the ice out of the machine and begin another batch you could
conceivably make up to 35 pounds of ice in one day!

You will find all details and specs related to the Edgestar portable
ice maker by visiting the following website: www.compactappliance.com
Once there, look on the left hand side of the page under the "Specialty
Items" heading and select the link entitled "Ice Makers".  You will
then be taken to the main ice maker page of the site and the first two
units that you see will be Edgestar portable ice makers in white and
titanium.  (they are identical units except for the color and price)
Click on the photo of either the White or Titanium unit to be taken to
their main page where you will find detailed information regarding
these units.

Please feel free to contact me directly by telephone (Monday - Friday
8am to 5pm CST) with any questions that you may have regarding these
portable ice makers or any other items that you may see on our website.
(800) 297-6076 x113 - If you mention this posting I am usually able to
extend an additional discount above and beyond any sale prices listed
on the website.  You may also email me with any questions at the
following address: the_applianceguy@yahoo.com (*shipping is only
available within the continental United States)

Our Combo washer/dryer units are also another very popular item within
the RV community.  They enable you to wash and dry clothing all in one
unit without an air vent hose for the dryer and operate on standard 115
volt current.  Finally, a convenient solution to laundry on the road!

Thank you for your time -

I saw one of these ice makers today in Home Depot.  Thought
about it a little since we don't have an ice maker in our
refrigerator.  But we don't use much ice (hence, no ice maker)
and if we need it we buy a bag.  It looked a little big for use
in our 31 ft RV.  Not huge, but a little big to store and we
don't have much use for one.  I make a tray of two of cubes in
the freezer and we rarely need any for my beer.  Most of the
time they just sit there.  However, here in Knoxville, the
Tennessee Vols draw a bunch of tailgaters to Neyland Stadium on
certain fall saturdays (lost last weekend, too!) and with enough
power from the generator and enough drinking buddies, one of
these could be in full use during the afternoon.  Same for
Bristol up the road during race weekends.

Anyway, Home Depot may have them if you want to look at them.
