Greetings --

I  just found this group and I hope my inquiry is proper.

Does anyone have any comment, good or bad, about the Titanium Fifth
Wheelers from Glendale?

We are looking very seriously at a 2005 33E38TS and would appreciate
any comments.

Regards

Ken

Ken, the
COMFORT PACKAGE would have to be considered, as the standard air
conditioner 13,5 btu does not carry the ducted air system as good as you
would require in some areas. Information is fair but does not tell you
the "R" rating of insulation. I think this is an important
consideration. This unit appears to be one of the top of the line rigs.
Weight does not impress me much though. The dry pin weight of 2160 will
eat up your tow vehicle cargo weight. I think it is a little heavy for a
dry weight of 10,490 and GVWR of 13,130. I guess it is the extra forward
overhang. This is a one foot shorter than the one you indicated. 32E37TS
is what I was able to find, no 33E38TS, they must not have it on line
yet. It has a lot of features available that I wish I had. But one thing
about the dealers is the rigs they have on the lot can be had a lot
cheaper than you ordering every thing exactly as you want it. This is
not to say all they have on their lot is ones with out extras, on the
contrary, they make money on the loaded units so they stock more of
them. There is a big advantage in shopping around for what is available
with out having to order, of course I did not do it that way either, but
I was still able to get it for 66% of MSRP. Depending on the sine of the
time and with FEMA being the industry's biggest customer, don't get your
hopes up.
