The new Atlas is in WalMart now and they have the High way Up date on
line with it.

At this time in life all that
remains is left overs, some can
be cherished as good others bad,
but the only definite is that they
are all that remains, main course is
over.

Not making fun of you, but the first thing I thought of when I saw
this was the film "The Jerk" and Steve Martin was excited when they
published his name and number..Which later got him into more madcap
humor..

It was a tease - a loose parallel to a comedy routine in a popular, funny
movie.  No big deal.

(It was as if you breathlessly ran into the room announcing loudly
"THE NEW ATLASES ARE IN!")

I'm not a big fan of Steve Martin, but it is a good flick.

Steve Martin and one other individual comes across as stupid rather than
funny. I think the other guy played as Mr McGoo, as I remember.

It's ok Will...I meant no harm..I guess dealing with my Mother (She's
getting very forgetful and trivial about things important to her) and
so I just ook that sort as a "One moment of silliness" post..

In regards to S Martin, I find his style better then J. Carey and many
who have come afterward...But none have yet to come close to J.
Lewis...

And as a matter of fact, I'll be buying the said atlas soon for my one
shot long haul.

Now, as it's been a few years since I bought one, does it show the
elevation of said roads? My car can make it, but just in case, I don't
want to hit some major uphill grades and be surprised by topping out
and popping radiator...

No road elevation only predominant peaks. No grades given
any where that I can see. Post your rout and you will get
all the information that the folks here know which have
proven to be quite a bit.

If you want or need information regarding grades and elevations, I
suggest that you go to <www.mountaindirectory.com>  There is an
eastern and a western edition.  Very informative and I believe that no
RVer should be without them.

One of my all time favorite movies.
