I was there at the end of August, just after Tropical Storm
Ernesto kind of breezed through without doing much. Hot
and really humid. Nobody ever mentioned that the beach
was clothing optional, although I didn't see anything posted.
I walked in on foot and was charged $1.50.
During my stay in Florida, I was a bit disappointed that my
ride to Dry Tortugas was cancelled, as well as the snorkel
and glass-bottom boat tours at Biscayne NP.

The beach at the State Park in KW (Fort Zachary Taylor) is NOT clothing
optional.

I never said it was. Apparently someone took the liberty while I
was there, and nobody was objecting. Here are a few photos I
took of the fort (but not the beach):

I didn't take any photos of the beach, although I never would have
taken any pictures of this woman anyways. My sense was that there
would been more objections to someone possibly taking photos of a
topless woman rather than to the topless woman herself. I didn't
really find anything all that spectacular about this beach, so there
was no point for me to take pictures of it.
