I've got a 2005 Fleetwood Wilderness 27' bumper pull and I'm looking at
swapping the built-in radio with a newer unit that has a DVD player, the
problem is the radio is on the other side of the door from the TV.
I would like to fish the wire through, but is it even possible? The covers
I've pulled off in the past show a pretty thick layer of insulation, so
would it even be possible? The only two paths available are the outside
wall or roof and neither appear very promising.
I'm thinking I might have to just get a surface wire cover and mount it
right above the door to hide the wiring.
Any tips/tricks etc? Thanks

That may be your best option. Those channels come in various styles. You
can also rout a groove in wooden stock for a more natural look. (match your
woodwork.) If you have a corner (wall &roof) between the cabinets, use a
decorative corner molding. No one will even notice.

Hi,
How about down under the RV and back up? Using existing wire ways or
drilling a small hole in the floor inside the cabinets in the back? Try
and see how the wiring goes that is in there now and see if you can
follow it.
Take care and Happy Campin...

I look at that possibility, unfortunately as best as I can tell there isn't
any. The cabinet is suspended from the ceiling and is located above the
sink.
The pop-out control is in the same cabinet, I'll see if it goes down the
wall or overhead somehow.
Thanks
I've also put in an email to Fleetwood requesting any diagrams they might
have for routing wiring in this unit.

Why not just call them on the 800#? Fleetwood is a lot more customer
friendly than in the past, IF you tell them you have a problem you
want help solving, INSTEAD of telling them they make crap. Smooth
friendly conversations get the best service.

It might be best to go with a wireless speaker system in this case.
