I was In Big Sur last weekend. I was in a pull out talking to a friend when this drives by. He saw it before I did. He pointed it out to me and I grabbed my camera. I bet a MH like that with a blown engine could be had for next to nothing. Remove the drivetrain, weld on a tow bar, rig up some brakes and away you go! A very cheap way to go RV'ing in comfort. Not much different than the trailers from yesteryear that had a sprung axle under the tongue. That let a small vehicle pull a much heavier trailer. There is one of those parked in the RV park near my cabin. I've been meaning to take a photo.... Somehow, I'm reminded of a historic British naval painting, showing one of the last sailing warships being towed to the breaker's yard by a small early steam tug... "The Fighting Temeraire", IIRC?
