I figure not - but what would happen exactly?  The stuff sold in RV
stores is so darned expensive.

I have a leak I want to repair - when I find it that is.

Thanks

Hi,
The petroleum distillates in the asphalt will attack the EPDM and
soften and swell it. See the following site under Roofing/FAQ for more
information.

Take care and Happy Campin...

If memory serves me, I paid around $15 for a caulk-gun tube of RV roof
sealer.  This was enough to retouch all of the vents and thru-fittings on
the roof of my 31' Cedar Creek (except A/C).  I also touched up a couple of
small abraisions.  Didn't seem all that expensive.
