I don't know how you guys that have been retired for years, do it.
This retirement is tough.
It's just one day after another.
There is never a break from it.
It's relentless !!

It's relentless !!

It is rough at first  but not unbearable.

In extreme cases,  you may need to mount a time clock in your home until the
most deeply  placed habits can be modified.

I have to get fishing more often.
I live about a ½ mile from Irondequoit Bay and a ½ mile from Lake Ontario and haven't been fishing in over a year.

My new net came today, season opened a week ago.  I'll kill carp for a
couple weeks untill they stack up below the mill dam.  Then the flatheads
move in to feed.  Maybe a good month catching cats every day,  then wading
for smallies and walleyes in the mornings waiting for the big gills to move
off the beds and school up.

Yeah, retirement is rough.  I'll be parked along the Huron river,, bring
bait.

Just think of Retirement as an Extended Vacation! <G>

If you didn't have a passion for something before retirement, keep
working.

Most of us are into fishing or golf or RVing or something similar to
keep us inspired.

Stay out of the rocker and away from those soap operas. That'll kill ya
in a year.

I now have time to do some SERIOUS reading. <G>

I think, however, that SWMBO has started looking at "Help Wanted" ads...

I had a really rough time adjusting to retirement.  A couple of minutes
later I was fine.

It does take some getting use to, because it is relentless.
You never get a day off.
It just goes on and on and on.

The problem with being retired is that you don't know what day it is, what
time it is, where you're supposed to be, or what you're supposed to be
doing.  It's a lot like working for the government.

I don't have any problems of that nature: I still have a living wife! <G>

Well, in 60 days at least we will have one of those problems solved - we
received a Day Clock for the RV - - only tells you what day it is - who
cares about time!
