***After months of struggling to increase membership and justify the
overhead connected with a nationwide organization, the Will Sill
National Fan Club has finally decided to throw in the towel.

***With only Lon Van Ostran and Unk desiring enrollment, despite a
vigorous campaign to elicit new members, the organizers decided that
the expected interest level just wasn't there.  Apparently, many in
Usenet enjoy the villification of hapless Will and his antiquated,
groundless, illogical and mindless pontifications that he thinks pass
for genuine advice and the concept of actually honoring and praising
the moronic curmudgeon with national recognition was simply too much to
ask of the discerning public.

PS--It has also been reported that the sale of Will Sill Dolls at
K-Mart has sagged.  Apparently, they create a high level of road rage
when others see them propped up in the passenger seats of the old
farts' RVs.
