That is really interesting. Is what you pay for inside storage the norm in
your area.
Here in So. Cal., it ranges from 300-600/month for inside storage. So to
spend 60K on a storage unit, it makes sense, at least here.

But one that costs 60K in Coeur D'Alene, ID would cost just a smidgen more
in SoCal.

Actually, the So Cal location is expected to be
in the low to mid 60's. (Fingers Crossed)

Again, Kansas is a pretty good place to live. Around here (Wichita) covered
storage runs $70-80/mo. This goes up to about $150-180 with a closable
door. Open lot storage $30-40. The lot we use even provides an electrical
outlet every 2-3 slots for folks who need ot do maintenance, repair or
cleaning without moving their rig.
