If you prefer the "atmosphere" better on that unnamed NG, you're welcome to
spend your time there.

There's no one that will force you to continue any involvement with this
NG.

As you might have found :) people are passionate where the subject of
tire pressure is concerned. Just grin and bear it. :)

Trolling some more? Why was alt.rv the first place you went to ask for
info about a GMC SUV?

Even so, if you had paid attention to recommendations by the RV folk
here, you would have gotten the same answer. The very first response
recommended you check the charts. I just checked the Goodyear charts.
42 psi matches the chart for approximately 1900 pounds each, or 7600
pounds total. You said your GVWR is 7300. That's about right.

You still haven't explained your history of trolling, easily
demonstrated by looking at
http://groups.google.com/groups/search?q=dobony
where there are many threads just like your tire pressure question
here.

Two days, eh? Let's see...two days ago is when it was suggested that
you were trolling. You worked hard on your troll, even to the point of
finally going to another newsfroup where perhaps the issue is not so
hotly debated, to try to gain credibility. Sorry, anybody who looks at
your history will not grant you any credibility.
