My wife and I are looking into buying a small trailer that we can pull with
our Toyota Avalon 1999.  We have our eyes on this small trailer made by
Thor. Any recommendations on this unit and are there any other make/models
we should be looking at before buying.  This would be our first trailer.

Thank you in advance

Robert

Robert,

I looked at the T@b trailer recently at a show.  Looked nice.  A
neighbor has a Scamp for sale, so we stopped in to look at it.  You may
be interested.  See http://www.scamptrailers.com/index.cfm.

The Avalon is a nice car, the three lte. engine producing 200hp would
pull a scamp as long as you
did not get in the hill country. But the big draw back is the front
wheel drive. With a fwd arrangement
the weight and balance of towing is disrupted. You can have the trailer
pushing the rear end of the car off the road.
