Well, the wifes lovely (damn) dog, got a little bored the other day, and
decided the wires underneath the trailer were a good thing to keep him
company.
I have rewired everything but the brakes. I am talking the wiring at the
wheel, not the brake harness. Does anyone have a wiring schematic, or some
good instructions? (Other than shoot the damn dog).

Usually pretty simple. Two wires, power and ground. They should be
color coded to start with. Usually 10 gauge wire I think.
For dual axle, the wires from one side are tied together and then cross
over to the other side of the trailer and tie to the wires from those
wheels. Then one pair runs forward to the trailer plug/ground.

blue wire feeds trailer brakes, white wire goes to batt. neg. (-), red
wire is "cold" side of brake switch, black is batt. pos. (+). at the
wheel there are usually 2 wires one is ground the other feeds from blue
wire.
