What size of Jeep?  If you are talking about the CJ- series it sounds like a
really bad idea.  If it is the later model Cherokee/Wagoneer (SUV) sized it
still sounds iffy.  IMHO the Cherokee doesn't have enough wheelbase to be a
good tower.   And, for the same reason, towing much trailer with a CJ is
probably suicidal.

Also, what kind of camper (manufacturer, model, weight)?

Here you go again.  We are not mind readers, nor are we able to even guess
what you have for a "jeep".  Come to this forum with information.  Such as
Make, Model, Year, 2WD or 4WD, 4/6/8 cylinder motor.   Your subject " Anyone
ever use a jeep to tow a 14-17 foot camper??" and subsequent comment "If so
please let me know how the towing went thank you.Did you have any
difficulties??" doesn't tell us a damn thing about what your looking for in
the way of information.  As a matter of fact your question is very similar
to others you've asked in other threads.  Same answer here or didn't you
like the previous answers & you thought that someone else would write
something different here that you would like???
