We plan to travel to the Santa Fe/Taos Area in about a month. Can anyone
suggest a nice, reasonably priced campground in the Santa Fe area? We do
not need a lot of fancy amenities since we will be away from the campground
most of the time. Just clean, accessible, and not one that resembles a
church parking lot.
BTW, we will probably be staying at the Enchanted Moon up near Taos. It is
an older campground that probaby serves a lot of locals year round.
Good-old-boy friendly management and a plesant place the be. We have stayed
there in our 5th wheel and a tent on several occasions and would recommend
it. It kinda fits our model.

Cochiti lake is a corp. of engineers between Santa fe and albaquerque cheap
about $17 for electric and water it is a long drive approx 30 miles to Santa
Fe but only about 2 miles to tent rocks national monument which is pretty
neat. be sure you have a LOOOG hose and extra 30 amp electric extension as
outlets are very far from many sites we have stayed there several times
since we wanted to go to Sant Fe and Albuquerque to see Bandilier Taos,
petroglyph and take the drive in the mountains nw of Santa fe.
