After over 900 unsuccessful hits on our ad at
http://www.rvclassified.com/rvclassified_cfmfiles/search/details.cfm?id=64113
we have decided to practically give away our class B MH, and have
lowered the asking price accordingly.
Perhaps we would have been more successful using the usual verbiage
about "highway miles" and similar meaningless puffery, but we find
honest buyers prefer honest descriptions.
Note to hecklers: feel free to fire at Will!
Note to scammers "inquiring for a client": Don't bother with the
foreplay - just send yer bogus cashier's check for any amount.

I see where MR <mcr1010@hotmail.com> asked:

After a half-century of enjoying rv travel with a variety of rv's, we
probably will not replace it. We've enjoyed it immensely, but the
time has come to cut back on travel.

The SillyOne probably meant to say "After over 900 people looked at our ad
(and decided not to pursue it for a variety of reasons)".....
If over 900 people clicked on your ad, then these is a degree of success
somewhere. What you are lacking is ad copy that makes people say "I HAVE TO
HAVE THAT CLASS B!!!!!!"
Of course it may be overpriced and a death-trap as well.............

Even though Will has me filtered, I have to say he is giving his van
away. He sent me some pictures of it when he was still "speaking" to
me and it is a nice piece of work for what it's intended, traveling. I
hope someone does buy it and gives it another good home. At only
86,000 miles it has a lot of good traveling left in it. I'd rather
have his rig than some early 80's unit well past its prime.

Any time you have an item that is out of the mainstream, you have to
wait for that certain customer to come along. This applies to real
estate, custom vehicles, wildcat firearms or experimental aircraft.
Only a discerning customer who knows the object's value for his own
purposes will see the bargain.
It took me 18 months to sell my Superior motorhome because they were
built to order at the factory and there were very few on the road. The
company stopped taking motorhome orders but continued to build buses
which left their RVs an orphan.
Finally a truck driver who had a lot of experience as a school bus
mechanic on Superiors drove by and saw it. No haggling whatever and he
brought me a cashier's check the same day. It's still in use.
