the RV is a 1992 allegro 32 foot diesel pusher,
here is the converter information
AUTOMATIC LINE GENERATOR SWITCH
NOT IGNITION PROTECTED
RATED 240 VAC 50A TUNGSTEN 50A BALLAST
MAGNETEK TYPE 1
INTELI POWER 9100
MODEL PD9155
INPUT 105-130VAC 50HZ 900 WATTS
OUTPUT 13.6 VDC 55 AMP (INCLUDES CHARGING AND LOAD)
TOTAL CHARGE MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS
TCMS INTERFACE 30 AMPS
no fuses blown, all wires intact. no burnt wires.
plugged the intell power into a 110v line from the house. let it charge all
night. went out this evening, house & gen batteries start gen. run fine.
lights on in house.
RV house batteries are 12 volt marine AC Delco
so I have charged batteries. and it appears to be working again at this
point. i would like to check the setup and make sure it is working and i do
not need any replacement parts before i head out to corpus christi .
I would like to change several of the power setup configurations. like quick
disconnect for the batteries on the house and starting. circuit breaker
panel for the RV and a smart charger built in. larger house 6v battery setup
with AGM in series. at this point I am just making sure what I have is
working and up to snuff. I can tackle the upgrades one at a time.
I am looking for books that detail the purposed upgrades I have for my RV.
any suggestions would be appreciated.
would finding a wiring diagram and or blue prints for this RV be out of the
question? anybody found a set of these on the web, or just at tiffen.
thanks to the group for the suggestions

RV not charging batteries to power generator & RV power
pictures are at

2 folders with this name.
just so you see what i see.
i am looking for suggestions on how to isolate the house batteries and the
starter batteries, so i don't burn up one or the other when charging them.
plus the diesel motor is in back of the RV, the gen is in the front with the
house batteries. the converters are in the back by the diesel motor, so i
would like to move the batteries to one area. is this practical or will it
work. suggestions would be appreciated. thanks

I took a quick look at all of your pictures. One thing I noticed is that
some of the positive terminals on the battery look as if they are sulfated
or dirty. As well as the negative terminal.
I'd start by removing the negative terminal ans sanding the contact surface
with emory cloth. the coat it with a dielectric grease. Do the same to each
terminal on the positive side of the battery. (This is the cheap and easy
method).
Side note: I collect/restore pinball machines and old coin op items, many a
times I have found that by simply cleaning the electrical connections I can
get it to work.
I'd also wrap some insulating electrical tape aroound the exposed wires
going into the terminals.
Check the water level of each battery and add if needed, also check specific
gravity using a hydrometer.
12V RV/Marine batteries last about 5 years max. so you may want to replace.
Sometimes even less if neglected.
Next, I'd disconnect the charging portion of the converter and see if your
getting 12.6-15.0V open circuit using a meter.
If not then I'd suspect failure in the charging circuit of the converter.
I'd also look at the splices and check for continuity (remove negative
terminal on BOTH batteries). also continuity of each terminal/ wire trace.
