measured to the maximum horizontal projections of exterior walls in
the setup mode this thing has 2 slides dont know how big have to drive
90 miles to look at it is it worth the trip

All I can say is I've never heard of the brand, and that means
something, since there are few decent brands I've never heard of

They have been around for 16years and are still in business today. That
should say something meaningfull right there. My neighbors have a 2002 40',
the thing is gorgeous. They have not had any issues that I know of with it.

Franklin is pretty much a park model trailer. I have seen a few that
were being towed but IIRC, they were Gypsies. Now watch them come out
of the woodwork <g>.

If you need to measure from the outside dimensions, the trailer would be at
least 12' wide with the slides extended; for the sake of argument lets
underestimate, claiming the slides only extend 2' (which would be absurd in
such a large trailer) which would give an overall dimension of 42' X 10",
giving a foot print of 420 square feet.
Save your gas.

In general, stated trailer lengths include the hitch. A "42 foot"
trailer is probably around 38-39 feet long.
