I'm getting ready to change my fluids, oil etc. on my RV and have a onan
4000 microlite. I have the owners manual but the rig is parked about 10
miles away from home so, I can't just take a peak at it. It appears it
doesn't anyone know for sure and if it does oil filter#  (circa 1996/1997)

TIA

Uses the same filter as a Saturn car with 1.9L DOHC engine. I did so
research and it seem that GM uses sane filter design on Saturn as Onan
did so I buy filters for my onan engine at Walmart for $2.50 ea
instead of a lot more. I have had no problems with them at all.

Know your spec letter, it could make a difference on the fit of the oil
filter. It might not be "one size fits all."

The 4000 microlite does -not- have an oil filter.

Mine don't have a oil filter either.

Air filter, fuel filter, spark plug.  That's it on mine.

Alan, by the way, there were three things wrong with mine.  It
now runs fine, but at great cost.  It is also nice and clean.
