I will be visiting Penn State for a few days next month and would prefer to stay in my pop-up camper.
If you know of a nearby campground (the closer the better), please let me know!
Thanks in Advance,
Scout

Go to the Penn State web page, look in the visitors section, look in lodging
and click on campgrounds....
you Should call the campgrounds and make sure they still have the water
turned on and that they are open...
Make sure you attend evening services at the old Methodist church in
Willheim, take your wife and kids, they'll thank you for it. I think it
starts about 7:30 or 8 in the evenings....(Fri and sat)

Check out this site:
www.woodalls.com
Or better yet, buy the 2007 Woodall's Campground directory - only
$11.95. Can't believe it's that cheap. I bought one back in the mid
90's and it was way more expensive - it's 2000+ pages listing damn near
every campground in the US, Mexico & Canada. A book is awlaways better
that the web if you ask me. Go to the Pennsylavania Chapter, locate the
area on the PA map where State College is located, make a note of the
CG's surrounding SC and go read their descriptions in the chapter. They
have contact info, prices, description of the sites, activities, etc.
The best capground book in the world!
