I have a 1998 Prowler 33P travel trailer that I bought used from a
dealer two years ago, and which is permanent (not towed - hence no
registration) in a campground.

Today I went looking for its serial number, which I expected to be
stamped on the tongue part of the frame, and it wasn't there.

Surprised me.

Does anyone know where it might me?  Besides on my title, that is.

Thanks

Jethro

Look on the front corner, street side where the weight tag is.  Also
look inside the kitchen cabinets for a sticker on one of the doors.

Thanks

Next visit to campground, I will look there.  I think I did look at
the corner where indeed there was a weight tag, but I did not see
anything else.

Did you get a "bill of sale?"  I would expect it to be there.

He said he has it on his title, he wants to find the physical location
of the VIN on the unit itself.

Thanks everyone.  Fleetwood got back to me, and they say it is on the
inside of my travel trailer frame behind the rear tandem wheel.

When I next go to the campground, I'll take a look.  Hope it is there.

That's good info.  I didn't know it was supposed to be there.

A while back they put them on the frame, up front on one side of the
hitch for a TT.

Our 99 Seabreeze 33 motorhome has a metal tag visible thru the lower
left corner of the drivers side windshield, from the outside, attached
to the dash but way down....sorta like where they put car VINs.

It is also on a metallic foil decal on the inside left wall near the
drivers seat, and on a small metal foil decal on the outside near the
main entrance door.
