Replacing Mounts on older 1988 ONAN

Can I replace the mounts without removing the generator from the RV?
There is a metal cover sheet over the bottom access that prevent access
directly to the mounts from below.

Without knowing -which- Onan genset you have, it's hard to tell. On most,
the mounts bolt to the genset mounting pan from underneath, so if you can't
get to that from below, you are out of luck.
