Hey everyone- just read that Sunline Coach, of Denver, Pa. has closed for
good.
Not a good thing- they were a good company with a good product. Apparently
after liquidation, they expect to have no funds to administer warranty
issues, though of course the appliances will still be under their
manufacturers warranties.

Wow, was I surprised to see your signature!!! Hope all is going well
and I am sure if you monitor the ng's you can see it is all the same BS.
Hope all is well with the business and of course you and the family.
Your name gets mentioned every once in a while and needless there are a
lot of people who wish you would come back, but the same idiots are
still there as I am sure you know "IF" you still monitor or sign on once
in a while. Bob Giddings and another one have dropped out and Janet
Wilder had cancer surgery on her tongue and forget the rest.
Take care and I am scanning the url you sent.
Lee (in Florida) Nope you don't know me but I read everything you put
on the ng! Thanks for that though.

Hi Chris,
To bad. I once looked at becoming a dealer for them a few years back.
For about the last 3 years or so they have been running on kinda thin
ice. The 5th wheel they tried to make did not work out and between that
and the management change it looked a little scary. I guess they just
could not hang on. Some of those folks have been with the company a
long time. They made a pretty good product and were one of the few that
made handicap accessible travel trailers and toy haulers. They made a
good product for lightweight travel trailers.
Take care and Happy Campin...

So what does that really say about the demographics of the RVing
community?? While not at all familiar with the Sunline Coach name, I
assume they manufactured a quality product.
And it's been less than a year since Chinook closed their doors. While
I'd never buy a Chinook product, since they were all class C rigs.
With it's one-piece seamless marine-style fiberglass body, I've never
seen a better-constructed class C rig. Perhaps the downside to their
effort, was that they were attempting to market a class C at class A
prices. But for sure, if I was looking for the very highest-end
quality in a class C rig: I would definitely chosen a Chinook.
