RV can mean any vehicle that you have fun in.
Motorhome means any home with its own motor.
Camper means anything you can sleep overnight in.
How far do we go with this?
Hank <~~~~has many RV's but only one Motorhome that is a camper. :-)

Does that mean a large sailing yacht with Captain and crew living aboard
is a motorhome?

IMHO, in the context of this group, an RV is a pop-up camper, travel
trailer, fifth wheel trailer or any one of the three classes of
motorized RVs, to wit: class B, class C and class A. Add bus conversions
to the list and it's pretty complete.
Most pop-up campers do not contain "sanitary accomodations" but I would
most certainly consider them to be RVs.
I have found that in the West, especially in California, the term "RV"
has become synonymous with motor home, but this is most certainly not
the definition of RV, just a regional thing.

Pay attention, you twit! Don't come butting in at the tail end of a
thread and expect people to get you up to speed. Jeez! What an a.shole!
Typical RVer, though.

I am answering a question asked by RC Collins. The point is to answer his
question. Apparently there was a confusing use of the terms RV and
motorhome. Several others participated in the answer to help clarify too.
Are you some sort of self appointed custodian? If so, please divulge the
rules of participation and engagement that you have set forth for the fine
people here. If you are having a bad day please take it somewhere else and
come back when you are feeling better. If it is a chronic condition for you
then I would suggest herbal remedies starting with a strong green tea upper
colonic. Colonic therapy helps remove heavy metals and impacted fibrous
matter that upsets the gentle and delicate balance of the colonic flora.
Have you ever worked as a machinist or with any of the heavy metals? You may
have high levels of residual cadmium in the body. If not then try some
meditation and drink plenty of green tea. Once in a while throw in some
houndstooth, licorice or sourgum to cleanse the blood. Stay away from
coffee, processed foods and especially red meat. A macrobiotic diet
prescribed by a naturopath or alternative dietary consultant may also make
things better for you. Yet another thing to try if all else fails is
psychotherapy from either a Jungian or Zoroaustrian schooled therapist. If
you give me your phone number I can call you and talk you through the trauma
you are so obviously suffering and we can practice some chaka-chants
together to begin the healing process. I have a nice manual on aligninment
of the meridians of the body and with the recent coronal mass discharge your
meridians may have become polarized. They can be depolarized with the
granitic sulfide crystals from the Olympic peninsula. Simply place the
crystal under your bed and unplug all electrical applinces with 30 feet. The
force will be yours.
Lovingly,
Clara
