I  think Imus is a jerk and always has been.  He made a stupid remark.
However, it has been blown WAY overboard by Al and Jessie etc.  His
remark wasn't racist.  It was rude but not racist.  Hell, every rap song
I hear by a black artist says much of the same thing.

Will Al and Jesse apologize to the Duke boys for calling them guilty
racists early on?  Doubtful.

nope it is only the white ones that will have to watch their mouths.
the other ones can continue as always. not politically correct to clamp down on them.

 Personally, i think he should have lost his job (which he did as of
 today on the TV and now on the radio).  It appears hes been made an
 example of concerning how shock-jocks think they are beyond civility and
 morality .  Ill bet the rest of the nations shock-jocks will watch their
 mouths from this point forward.  Lastly,  there should be no public
 racial prejudice allowed --- and these Rap and HipHop guys shouldnt be
 allowed to call women whatever they feel like cause it fits in nice with
 their jingle .  

 And while we are at it...RVers who dont travel in the far right hand
 lane , except for passing or turning left, should be ticketed.  In fact,
 it should apply to everybody.  

 Lastly,  I think every major city in america should be smoke-free ,
 alchohol should be prohibited so innocent people arent killed, abortion
 should be outlawed and with heavy fines,  people should be thrown in
 jail and fined if they commit adultery ,  and caning should be brought
 to america as Singapore has had good luck with it for offenders of the
 Law.  Oh yeah...if  you dont flush the urinal for the next guy, you
 should be fined (unless you have Parkensons disease).

 What this Country needs is some real discipline.  Ill be running for the
 office of U.S. President  under the Totalarianism ticket ; please vote
 for me cause i know i can whip this country back into shape . ANd ill
 make sure RVers get a good break on gasoline prices at the pumps. Thank

Imus's situation is that's he's a victim of circumstances. The
circumstance is he was speaking out against Hillary Clinton whom he
hated with a passion and didn't mind saying so. The Clinton attack-and
destroy machine got ahold of it's hacks, Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson
and it's media minions of ABC, CBS, NBC and CNN and they combined to
make a giant row out of what is just normal shock jock talk.

The hypocrisy is gut-wrenching. Here you have a pack of liberals
destroying the career of a liberal shock jock by directly attacking his
freedom of speech. These same people applaud so-called artistic
expression such as figures of Jesus smeared with human feces. They are
all against artistic censorship when it's to their advantage to be but
if the artistic expression of a shock jock using speech involves
criticism of Hillary Clinton they MUST destroy the source by censorship.
Now, while they cannot come out and say we got him fired because he said
bad things about Hillary, they can and did get Imus because he said
something about which they could play the race card. Never mind they are
all for the artistic expression of rappers and hip-hoppers who use the
same words or worse. It's blatant and obvious. You watch, the list of
people who are next in line for censorship will ALL be people who are
anti-Hillary.

It's real apparent to me this is what's at the root of this whole
affair.  Why has nobody in the liberal media made mention of it? It's
simply because it would be working against the liberal agenda to do so.
The liberal agenda is Hillary Clinton and don't you forget it.
