About a year or so back someone posted the URL of a website
he created showing the work he did on a D-I-Y rubber roof
replacement job.  I lost my bookmarks and can't find the
website now.  If the guy who posted this website or anyone
else knows the URL, please let me know via reply post.  Thanks.

I found a link to a site with both the materials and instructions;
<http://www.mobilehomeadvantage.com/sku.cfm/sub_cat_id/123/ID/24/>

Good luck.

Thanks, Hugh.  I have the link to the site with the pictures of
Jon's roof replacement job: http://www.outerland.com/RV/Roof/
It's an excellent coverage from start to finish with great pics.

I have started removing the old roof membrane and I can't believe
what a mess it is under there!

Why are you so worried about it. It's not YOUR POS is it?  Maybe it has
sentimental value. Maybe the guy is poor and can't afford a new RV.
Maybe he likes to do projects. Maybe he isn't rich and famous like you.
Why don't you go shave your legs or something and leave us alone.

snipped

I've seen what water damage is on a trailer so I'm not surprised at what
you're finding. Make sure you check the sidewalls also as the water can
go down inside them and that results in really wicked rot.

Award built a really nice series of trailers including a neat 5th wheel.
After the factory closed and the assets were bought by former employees,
their biggest source of income came from repairing the Awards that had
leaked, most if not all have some damage. There are some folks who have
posted on the Yahoo Award group and have seen the front and rear caps
off the trailers, horrible.

I recall a guy who had a conventional 5th wheel and undertook the job of
repairing water damage on it. He had pictures too and they were gross.
Couldn't even tell what some of the stuff was supposed to look like as
the rot had gone so far.
