What is the price of gas in your area?

Will the higher prices affect your travel plans?

At what price per gallon would you think of getting a more efficient motor
home?

Thanks!!

Varies from station to station - Reg 2.61 to 3.09 - diesel 2.57 - 2.99
BTW, those website charts are way off in my area.

1. www.gasbuddy.com  click in the area you're wondering about
2. no
3. i never look at the price.  when the gauge say "E"  I fill up.  If we
don't spend the money on gas, we'll just spend it on something else.  Can't
take it with you.

RUL is $3.099 at the local Flying J, but diesel there is $2.579, 52 cents a
gallon cheaper!

Interesting to note that the highest prices for gas are in the "blue"
states.  They also have the highest crime rates, the highest 'road
rage' rates.  D'ya spoze there might be a correlation?  Jus'
wunnering!

REPLY: The highest incidents of road rage for the nation  is Miami
according to a survey i heard yesterday.  Chicago, Il area is ranked 7th
on the list.  I dont see how high gas prices are necessarily linked to
road rage , since road rage is the result of people with uncontrolled
anger issues .  Since Miami, FLA. gets the award for highest road rage,
its obvious that nice sunny weather doesnt influence human behavior.

Of course!  The mean, evil Dick Cheney, or was it Rove...  No, wait!  It's
George Bush's vindictiveness that is manipulating the price in those states as
PAYBACK!!  Moo ha ha!

"Cheap" gas jumped from $3.01 to $3.29 this afternoon!!!
Yes, it will end up reducing some of the frivolous running. There is only so
much of the green to go around....
I'm always amused by those that say they'll never slow up. Must have a money
tree in their back yard!!!

Heck, I cut THAT down a couple years ago when gas got so expensive.  Little
did I realize that the price then was NOTHING compared to today.

No, just a lifestyle and income that allows for rearranging priorities to
accommodate such added CO$Ts.

You have to remember, some of us don't just go out driving around.  Every
trip is necessary, or it's not made.
