Has anyone any experience with the "Bigfoot" jacks?  I put a set on my rig
(a 35' class A) a couple of years ago and the chrome finish on the pistons
or rods has started to rust.  Is this normal and what should I do about it?

crocus cloth and a very light oil.  Then be sure spray a little oil on
the shafts if you keep them extended for long periods of time.

I had a really good customer service experience with Bigfoot.  One of my
rams wouldn't retract fully.  I pulled off a section of the underbelly and
found a lot of hydraulic fluid.  One pipe had broken on the assembly (due to
careless installation).  I called Bigfoot and they said they would send me a
new one at no charge (warranty long expired).  When it came all I had was an
empty envelope.  It had been torn and the pipe was gone.  I called them
again and they sent me another by overnight air, again at no expense to me.
