ok, I've searched and searched and have to ask...

I'm looking for a filter to put onto the tank fill of the TT
for sediment mainly. It won't be on the "high pressure"
input but just the fill connection.

I looked at this one:
http://www.campingworld.com/browse/skus/index.cfm?skunum=7225

But I somehow think it needs to be connected to a line with
30-40lbs to force the water through the system. We're not
going to have that much pressure in the boonies. More like a
hand or sump-style pump into the tank.

Anyone know of any filters that will run on low pressure?

It will work for you. It doesn't require that much pressure to push water
through. It's just a charcoal filter.  But it's will not take care of
bacteria.

I use one of the similar filters available at Wall*Mart in the
RV section.  They are cheaper, $15-18 as I recall.  Same thing,
just charcoal and maybe a little filtering.  I do have to rinse
the free carbon out of it before first use, otherwise the carbon
dust gets into the water.  I change it out every season.  I
don't trust these things to stay bacteria free for very long.  I
use it to fill the water tank and in line to the water connection.

Sounds like it'll do what I'm after. I'm not looking for it
to control bacteria, just filter the water sediment before
hitting the tank. Thanks.
