I have found something even more dangerous than propane.  I know you
all think that is impossible but I pose this.  

It is the RV Awning Strap.  Today I was watching some folks getting
ready to leave the CG here in Seward.  One of their kids was playing
with the awning strap, making into a lasso.  She then put it around
her neck.

Now just what would have happened had somehow the spring been loosed?

Well sports, the awning would have retracted and strung this poor
young girl up like a cattle rustler in the old west.  Snapped her neck
like a chicken for Ma Kettle.

How primitive; and we, as a society allow these straps to be put on
awnings?

Horrific, terrible.  Alas alak.  Woe is me.  I am still quaking in
horror.
