William Boyd - 17 Aug 2007 01:17 GMT Any one out there that would like to buy a 2.5 acre lot with Barn 30% finished and has central air. Has all RV support facilities that any winter campground has. Make a comment here. It is located in Mid Mississippi, $35,000.
Now I sure didn't say that right. 30% of the barn is finished off like a regular house, room 12'X36', is insulated and sheetrock finished, with tile floor. Has a hot water tank, toilet, vanity sink, shower and washer dryer connections. The barn has it's own septic, public water system and 200amp power service. The remainder of the barn has concrete floors and lighting. Overall size of the barn is 36'X36', naturally it is painted RED. Telephone connection is high speed DSL capable. Has a amplified TV antenna with remote rotator system, can receive several local channels. Ideal place to spend the winters, far enough south to miss most of the cold weather and yet far enough from the coast ( approx 200miles) to avoid the hurricanes. Zip code 39740

I was reading Winterhaven for RV and thinking of Winterhaven, CA just across the river from Yuma. Now I see it's Winter Haven meaning a cozy place to go.
Some days I read better than others.

Has all RV support facilities [quoted text clipped - 28 lines] > > -- Had a utility building/garage (30x30, Back 12ft finished like an aprtment - like what you described, had cement floors, 200 amp service, Hot Water, AC, heater, bathroom, pool table, bed, jacuzzi, etc), but because it had red walls outside, people would call it a barn... Used to annoy the snot out of me... Seems to me that if you want to sell it/describe it's good features etc, you may want to find a name for it other than a Barn (Garage is bad too, maybe a guest house/utility building?).. Just out of curiosity, where's the RV go? (got a pad?, seems most are longer than a 30x30 building can hold, and how high is the door? Mine was only 11ft, so I couldn't pull the MH even partly in)
William Boyd-II - 19 Aug 2007 19:37 GMT > > [quoted text clipped - 53 lines] > > The barn consists of 3 sections 12' X 36', the ridge is approximately 16' high, gables are North/South. I call it a barn because it is built like a barn and painter red like a barn, also served as a barn for several years. The main door is 12'X12' located on the north gable end. The center of the barn, where the door is, has the center widened by 4' so the slide room could be opened after the 5th wheel RV was backed in. That side (west) with the 20' widened for the center part of the barn is naturally only 8' wide for a length of 16', containing a work shop area. The south end has a 4'X9' door in the center.

Hoppy. If you have pictures, I have plenty of space to post them Posting addy is live.
So, have you found a new home base?

William Boyd-II - 20 Aug 2007 03:25 GMT > > [quoted text clipped - 30 lines] > > Yes I have found a new home base that is heads and shoulders above any where else for me. Number one I have a daughter and two granddaughters that work in the nursing field here. Lot of advantages having private nurses, only problem is you can't fire them when they are kin. The road I live on is named Mountain Pass, so that pretty well describes the lay of the land. Gadsden area is on I-59 prior to Chattanooga and the Smokies Mtns. Only problem is I think it will be colder in the winter than the place in Miss. I already have my camper moved to my new location and powered up, water is available, but no dump capability. Will have to use the glorified garbage disposal pump routed to the pasture behind the house or dump in the washer drain pipe. Here is a lead in link to the area. I stayed in this park for a month and the fishing was great. http://www.rivercountrycampground.com/

I'll post them online, so you can get the barn sold. check your mail; I'll send from a better addy. I was born in Cullman. Planning to winter somewhere between Knoxville and Florence, Al. beginning soon

If I were to winter any where around here in an RV, you can't beat $450 bucks a month including electric like I was paying. http://www.rivercountrycampground.com/
I will be heading west to Las Vegas in late Sept. but I will be back here for the winter. Gotta take radiation treatments.

Sept, I'll still be salmon fishing, getting ready for deer season. Yep, some nice places to stay down there, but in Michigan, I know hundreds of places to just park-it. I just pull up by the river and set an old rod and bait bucket by the door. If anyone bothers me, they are just checking my fishing license. I can park on a fine trout river up state for a little over $1000 and metered electric. (9 months) Close enough to town to walk in for breakfast and groceries.
I got your pictures up; if you want some text with your contact details or a description, just let me know what you want, it will be changed in a few minutes.
