I live in Acapulco, Mexico and receive DISH TV here using my former MA
address.  I receive all the programming of the DISH package to which I
subscribe using two dishes - one pointed to the 110 satellite and the
other to the119.

If I subscribe to the Boston local channels as offered on the DISH TV
web site, will I be able to receive them here or are they "spot" aimed
to cover only a specified area?

Many thanks, Doug

Sorry Doug.....Spotted beamed.  I get my locals through SAT. and am
able to receive them as far south as Baltimore.  After that, nothing.

Spot beamed. Dish does not provide network programming to RV accounts.
See their web site for directions to get the programming from another
company or try this URL which may or may not be good
www.mydistantnetworks.com  You will need to fill out and fax or mail the
RV waiver form.

We have been using that distant networks service since it started last
December. The picture quality is the same as all the regular Dish
channels, and these channels appear in the Dish program guide right
along with the others.

The OP sent me an email. He found the web site and subscribed.
