Battery monitor and cable questions

I have a 2002 34' Holiday Rambler Aluminascape TT and the
panel that checks the holding tank levels and battery level
stopped working and I haven't been able to figure out why
yet. (yes, I changed the fuse). I need to fix it but that
may not happen before next month when I'll be using the
trailer in deer season.

The tanks aren't really all that big of a deal but I need to
know the battery level so I know when to kick the generator
on to charge 'em up.

Anyone know of a decent add on battery monitor?

Also, I'm getting two 4d's and putting them in parallel so I
need two jumper wires to connect the batteries. Suggestions
of where to get 'em?

I have friends who are very happy with the Link 10 system, and I am
currently traveling with a friend who recently installed a TriMetric
unit. It seems to do everything the Link 10 does, and costs less.

Thanks, I'd seen them advertised but had never heard of
them. I'll research them some more now.
