Good Sam will get you 10% at a lot of RV Parks. We are lifetime members and
use it occasionally.
Passport America will get you 50% off at a large number of parks, all listed
online or in their directory. We use it a lot, and do some of our travel
planning based on where we can stop at a PA park. If you're full timing,
you'll make your money back in 2 or 3 nights.
Buy a CG membership at a reseller, not at a presentation. We have a park in
TX that we've never been to and most likely will never go to, but we have
Resort Parks International in addition. That gets us $8.00 per night in some
really nice, pretty nice, ok, and a few not so nice parks. We use this one a
fair amount in our travels.
I've not been able to justify TT, Western Horizons or any of the other
memberships. Some do, I just haven't been able to make the numbers work for
our travels.
Coast to Coast is similar to RPI, and the parks "in most cases" duplicate
each other. I would go with one or the other, but not both.
It's what works for us.
Have fun.

Ask friends and relatives to put in a pad and provide a few
amenities...Like water, sewer and electricity.
Heck it's the least they can do if they want to be mentioned in your
will, or see your smiling face. :)

If you are looking to be a full time RVer, the Escapees RV Club, Inc. is
the ONLY RV club that supports that lifestyle as its main focus. The
club lobbies for the rights of full timers, understands the challenges
of not having a brick and stick home offers discounts on insurance,
RVing road service and financial services. There are deeper discounts
on commercial campgrounds than Good Sam offers and they have their own
campgrounds which are low-priced and friendly. The magazine is worth
the dues.
If you only join one club, this is the one to join.
If you are looking for a discount camping membership that is not a
life-time commitment and are willing to work around some restrictions, I
also recommend Passport America, which is not a club, just a discount
program.

KOA will give you 10% if you join their group when you stop at a KOA.
Good Sam 10%
Passport America is great, at 50% off most places, very few restrictions
in ski areas, etc. It pays for itself right away. They send you a
catalog of places, or you can access on the Internet.
Don't forget looking on the Internet for city parks across the US. They
are cheap and some are really great with all facilities.
