Im wondering why  CG's (especially the larger ones) dont have more
activities that promote fellowship , such as : an evening bonfire, sing
a longs,  potluck dinners (bring a dish to pass) ,  board games,  hiking
thru woods as a group,  etc.  ???

Im relatively new to RVing (2 years) , so,  was there a time when CG's
did offer such a thing on a  widespread basis ?
Do some State Parks offer such a thing ?

Thanks.

Your threads with the intention of kicking off a gay relationship are too
esoteric. : Why not just post in a gay group?

Hmm... If that's true then I'm not AmeriKKKan, not male so can't be a KKK
member...You obviously don't know Dimwit like I do.

You almost got one thing right though; if you'll excuse the inadvertant
pun...I do have political views right of centre; but that doesn't mean that
I can even tolerate the US Republicans in any way whatsoever. I'm pretty
much a lesbian myself; so I have nothing against gays. I have a lot against
hypocrites like DILV though; closet gays who preach anti-gay politics
knowing full well that they themselves are closet homosexuals.

Why not just come out and ask why campgrounds don't schedule revival
meetings where you can expound on your mentally unbalanced religious
delusions?

Some parks I've stayed at have rangers who give evening talks, but
they would not want some a.shole like you questioning their scientific
background, why they didn't mention Dog in their presentations, or
declaring that the Grand Canyon is really only 6000 years old.

I have a different perspective from you. Being a woman and a Pagan I see

OK

Honesty:

The reason I'm here is to pursue Dimwit aand alert people to the fallicy of
his trolling of fantasy and right-wing Christotaliban religionism.
Unfortunately there are gullible people out there somewhere who would be
fooled into a false sense of security by his lies and deception.

The reason I and others follow him around is because he spent years
disrupting and trolling groups that we posted in with his malicious
mind-controlling tactics and posts full of lies and offensive accusations
and inquisitions of innocent posters in dating, swinger, and alternative
religion/belief groups. He drove people out of many groups and offended many
unwary people causing much offence and anxiety. He is now reaping the fruits
of his behaviour, and those who "inhabit" each group in which he chooses to
push his religious trollings are warned of his malice whilst at the same
time his alleged logic is constantly revealed for the malevolent pungent
pile of rotten horse-manure that it is. - It is simply a mind-control
mechanism perpetrated by the religious right-wing that many unsuspecting
people are becoming trapped in due to a lack of forethought.

It is by ridiculing his teachings and exposing him for the mentally-ill
charlatan that he is that we kill two birds with one stone by firstly
allowing him his come-uppance, and secondly alerting those who would
otherwise be gullible enough to be fooled by this experienced trolling
false-religion salesman to the wholesale fallicy of the bag of lies under
the guise of light and truth that he perpetrates involuntarily upon the
masses.

Exactly right, mam!

It's laughable. Obese humanoids driving around the countryside in giant,
fuel-guzzling, pollution machines traveling from campground to
campground only to plug in upon arrival and then shut themselves up
inside their RV's while they watch television, surf the net, eat, burp
and fart.

They cook and eat, they snack, they drink lots of cold alcoholic
beverages. They nap, they watch TV and surf the Internet. They go to the
toilet to make room for more snacks and alcoholic beverages. They smoke
cigarettes and cigars. Their sink drains clog up with all the fat from
the dirty dishes. They get no exercise at all. They hide out and act
like troglodytes. You can tell their mindset. Timid, lazy, physically
unfit, no sense of adventure, no pride and anti-social because they are
ashamed of being fat, unhealthy, atheistic, hedonist slobs.  In other
words, the same people who seem to be in the majority here. I'm talking
about the idiots who brag about how many people are in their kill files.

In conclusion, they travel the countryside and see nothing but the
inside of their RVs. Just another form of a killfile. A filter that
excludes the real world. They'd rather not even try to meet other people
or engage in group activities - it might upset their precious routines
or make them think of something that makes them uncomfortable. They even
fear Dave's Christianity on this group. Why, they'd probably crucify him
at the campground for trying to save their souls.  The outside world
needs to be shut out. Their RV is the womb they miss and need so they
crawl inside and stay there. Sad.

And for this they claim they need an RV? Pathetic!  They should just
stay home.

I saw Shad as sad, and I was glad I had.
I found it bad that he was sad and Dimwit's mad.
Although I'm glad; at least a tad, that Shad, a lad, who's had a life of a
kind with an axe to grind and probably wants up Dave's behind, 'Sure he
won't mind some bump and grind from the psycho with the biko with a mind

So Dave is mad and Shad is sad; but Dimwit's glad that Shad's a lad. He'll

psyche that David likes.

I've only seen kiddie activities in state parks. RV parks, especially
the private membership ones, had club houses filled in the evenings with
people playing games like Mexican Train dominoes, Pegs and Jokers and
various card games. People don't come out as much any more.

The only places you will still find evening activities are the private
membership parks like Thousand Trails and some of the places that cater
to seasonal campers like in Florida, Arizona and Texas or northern
places that cater to summer seasonal campers. In other words, you would
need to go to a destination campground to find it. The just passing
through places don't usually have anything.

State and National Parks are, IMHO, places that families with rug rats
go for the weekends. They are  noisy and crowded and too expensive for me.

You have to add in the per-diem entrance fee, usually $5 per day. Yes
we went cheaper than that.

We completely ruled out state parks in 04 when we were traveling in the
mid-west. $15-$20 per day with no hookups or electric only plus $5 per
day entry fees. We found plenty of private commercial campgrounds for a
lot less.

We were sightseeing in the area, RVing, not camping. We didn't care
about making huge smokey fires at night and blasting our personal choice
in music for the irritation of all around us. That's what we found at
state parks.

All we wanted was a place to come home to after a day of sightseeing,
make our dinner and relax with TV or a book after a post-dinner walk. We
wanted to be able to leave the windows open for some fresh air without
clouds of noxious smoke from the campfires coming in to choke us. State
parks were not for us.

We found many of them to be quite acceptable, but not on weekends. On
weekends the locals came to camp with their noise, smoke and booze.

You and Dave oughta meet in a campground someplace soon. If you're not
married and if Dave's not married you might hit it off and end up
married to each other. It sounds like you two have a lot in common, at
least. A campground wedding would be a kewl group activity, wouldn't it?

Dave's not gay. He's a Christian and being gay isn't compatible with

Sorry but you wrong
Dave has admitted to being a homosexual, which is probably the main
reason he gave up sex over  20 years ago. Just ask him.
But he doesn't like to discuss his sins, so here's the proof (check

Not necessarily, but let's say, hypothetically, he did, at an earlier
time, engage in homosexual acts. That doesn't make him a homosexual. He
could have just been experimenting. He could have been drunk. He could
have been just thinking about it. Your concluding it *MUST* include
homosexuality is erroneous. I don't buy it.

But, just for the sake of argument let's say you're right that at some
time in the past he engaged in homosexual acts. But, since then, he's
accepted Jesus Christ into his life and he's asked for and been given
forgiveness for his sins and he no longer engages in homosexual acts. In
other words, he's repented. He cannot be called a homosexual. Remember,
it's God who creates those who have homosexual tendencies. It's God's
desire that homosexuals reject those tendencies because He has said they
are an abomination and a sin. It's a test. God tests his children in
various ways expecting them to pass the test. Failing the tests puts
black marks on one's soul.

If you truly believe Dave has sometime in the past been a practicing
homosexual but has repented of his sins and now rejects homosexuality it
can be concluded he's like the Prodigal Son returned from the abyss.
He's to be congratulated for chosing the right path.

If he never was a practicing homosexual and you are accusing him of
being one then you are the one in some trouble with the Lord and your
personal salvation may be forfeit.

If he was, at some time in the past, a practicing homosexual and only
claims he has repented then his salvation may be forfeit. Frankly I
don't think Dave is that dumb or hypocritical. He has a good heart. It
can be gleaned from his even-handed posts.

Would that the posts of his little band of heathen camp followers
followed suit.

Oh that makes it all OK then; he gets a licence to be a hypocrite if he's "
accepted Jesus Christ into his life and he's asked for and been given
forgiveness for his sins." I think I'll go out and kill a few people and
then say "I'm innocent; I've accepted Jesus Christ into my life and I've
asked for and been given forgiveness for my sins" - Everyone will say "Oh
that's okay then." - Then I can start preaching a message of condemnation
against murderers.

A leopard never changes its spots. I have auburn hair; I want to be deep
blonde naturally. If I reject auburn hair and tell everyone I'm deep blonde,
whether I've coloured it or not; the fact remains that I still have auburn

Dimwit hasn't "chosen" anything. Dimwit is as gay as my hair is auburn.

You might be right but there's something about a lost soul that attracts

Dean, on the other hand, sounds evil. He's a hard case and closer to the

Happy my aching arse!  Happy people do not spend so much time spouting
profanity like you do, dear.  As for your being educated, you write like
you are a high school drop out.  Allow me to correct your statements
above.  An "educated person" would have written them this way:

"You have your beliefs and I have mine.  You have your version while I

See, dear, your punctuation needs ever so much work. You toss
punctuation marks up into the air, willy-nilly, and let them land
wherever. Educated folks do no such thing. Your diction leaves a lot to
be desired. For example, one is consumed "by" something else as in "the
log was consumed by fire." One is not consumed "with."  But, despite
your abhorrent English, I still find you attractive and worthy of
redemption. There's something about a sassy bitch with auburn hair . . .

space between the ellipsis and the word it follows).  I hope this helps.

You've got that right. I'm happy you found the way. I wish more people

I agree fully that it is necessary to acknowledge one's limitations. I also
state categorically that it is a malevolent act to oneself to dwell upon
those limitations. *YOU* may prefer a "simple" life; being a simple person;
but we winners and upcoming somebodies want to *live* rather than simply

I once agaain agree that this level of existance is a step of preparation;
but that doesn't mean we're not allowed to enjoy it.

I think you do; even though it's a figment of your imagination.

Hitler and Stalin were good; at dictating, murder, inhumanity, partial
genocide, etc. : In that respect they were better than me, despite the
unfavourability of the traits. I'm NOT saying that I'm a better Pagan than
Hitler; as Hitler was a Christopagan anyway; but I would say that I am more
skilled with the personal development of Paganism than he was.

Hitler and Leonard Abbott appear to have meny common viewpoints.

Living life to the full involves living it so as to gain immortality.
There is but one way to gain immortality. Immortality is God's gift to
his children who try their best to live a godly life as espoused by
Jesus Christ. God does not intend this life on Earth to be a drag. God
has nothing against people enjoying themselves to the max. But, God
teaches that enjoying one's self to the max must be restrained by
certain rules. For example, one might enjoy beating up gays but it is
clearly wrong to do so. One might enjoy practicing witchcraft but it's
clearly wrong to do so. One might enjoy gluttony but it's clearly wrong
to do so. One must follow certain Christain dictates in order to enjoy
God's grace. God knows what makes humans happy. After all, he is the
creator. Trying one's best to learn and abide by God's teachings assures
the greatest happiness. God loves us all. God would't teach us to live
life in such a way as to make us unhappy.

Maximum enjoyment is fine as long as one follows the rules set forth by
God and put down in the Bible. As I stated above, maximum enjoyment
*follows* living by God's rules.  Just like parents can't allow their
children to run rampant doing whatever they please even if the children
think they are happy doing it (they don't know a better way) but must
teach their children the right way to live, so does God have to teach
his adult children the correct path to follow. But, of course, the
choice to follow his teachings is your own. This choice is a central
part of Christianity. You are free to choose witchcraft over
Christianity but you will suffer the consequences of your choice. With
free will comes responsiblity. Only you can decide if you wish to have
eternal life. God will judge us all by our actions here on Earth.

I don't know about you but I won't trade eternal life for a few years of
indulging myself in witchcraft and other sinful activities here on Earth
while I'm a corporeal being. There are way too many approved of
Christian ways in which I can enjoy myself to take the chance of tossing
aside immortality for a few short years of sinful *fun*.

It depends which god you're referring to.

Are you insinuating that I beat up gays!? I don't beat up anyone; and I'm a
bisexual/lesbian. I leave beating up gays to Christians who practice
"violence for Jesus". : Honestly now; I know a Pagan who was mobbed by a
gang of Christians screaming "Devil worshipper!". I know a gay man who was
cornered by Christians and ordered to renounce homosexuality and become a
Christian "like them". When he refused they put him in hospital.

It's homophobic and antisocial. In Dimwit's case there's nothing wrong with
him being gay; but when he pretends not to be; lies about it, and condemns
it; it becomes rank hypocrisy.

> One might enjoy practicing witchcraft but it's

What on earth are you on about? How is it "clearly wrong" to do so? That's
just as logical as me saying "It's'clearly wrong' to call yourself Shad

Eating too much you mean. : FYI there is a psychological condition in which

So why does the Christian church make so many people unhappy and why has it
inflicted so much suffering upon virtually every sector of society in the
past? Why does Dimwit openly practice antisociality and lie in the face of
fact while calling himself "Christian"? - It's because the *real* source of
evil in the world is the very organisation that pretends to offer
"salvation" from evil; the Christian church itself!

Ok it may be the case that some people are so inferior and weak-minded that
they are unable to control themselves in any responsible manner, and need
some kind of control mechanism in order to restrain their social depravity;
but whether or not you believe it, there is a sector of society that is able
to demonstrate responsibility and self-control who don't need some
artificial controlling medium to act as a suppressant for their wild ways
and manic moods.

But you think Witchcraft is "sinful"; that there's something "wrong" with
it. Why do you think that? Because someone told you it was so. - You didn't
sit down and work it out for yourself; (If you're capable of doing so (?))
and think to yourself  "I don't understand what's going on, why people
practice Witchcraft in the first place - What draws people to
Witchcraft? -Or what happens in Witchcraft. : I'd like to find out the facts
and draw my own concclusions."

No you were told by some uneducated halfwitted ignoramus peddling religion
that it was "evil"; and without question it sounded OK to you so you
believed them and became a bigoted ignoramus yourself; just like Dimwit but
with somewhat more intelligence and more education...If it's possible to
have any less of an education than Dimwit has that is.

Good for you; if they float your boat then go for it. - I'm sorry to find
that you're so bigoted and negatively superstitious; but each to their own.

It does not! "Not all who wander are lost." From "The Lord of the Rings"
referencing Aragorn.

By the same token, not everybody who kills is a murderer. If I
accidently killed somebody in an automobile accident it is NOT murder. A
soldier who kills an enemy is NOT a murderer. A bank guard who kills a
bank robber is NOT a murderer.

One is a homosexual as long as one practices homosexuality. When one
stops practicing homosexuality one is NO LONGER a homosexual. It's that
simple. So, your analogy is flawed as I've pointed out by example.

>> He could have just been experimenting. He could have been drunk.

Neither is "OK" and neither is a constant state.  I can't call you a
drunk when you're sober any more than I can call someone else a
homosexual when he is having nothing but heterosexual sex and has
forsaken homosexuality. That is a trap you closed-minded liberals fall
easily into. You call somebody something and you think that defines his
entire status in life. You define according to your prejudices. You say
somebody is a "child molester." What if the "child molester" suffers a
stroke and is paralyzed from the neck downwards? He cannot any longer be
a child molester because he's incapable of the act. The closest you can
come to the truth is to say he "was" a child molester.

And you clearly seem to think "once a homosexual, always a homosexual."
This is fallacious thinking. Using your lack of logical thinking one
could just as easily say "Once an atheist, always an atheist." I can
give you examples of people who disprove this statement. Even you, still
have the capacity to reject heathenism and embrace Christianity. If you
should happen to choose the right path then people would say, "There's a
Christian."  They would not say, "There's an atheist." That's because
atheism, like homosexuality, can and should be a temporary abherrant
state.

Yes, that's the beauty of Christianity. What Jesus did (died on the
cross) makes it possible to be forgiven for sins one has committed in
the past and even sins one might continue to commit in the future. God
and Jesus know people are sinners and can NEVER completely stop sinning.
What matters is how hard people try to toe the line and how contrite
they are when they stray from the straight and narrow and how sincere
they are about the whole process. But, to know the process one must know
God's law which is all explained in the Bible.

As for hypocrisy, it's not hypocritical to realize when one is a sinner
and to be sorry one sinned even if one knows full well one is likely to
sin again. Hypocrisy is to be a sinner yourself and call somebody else
bad when that person sins. That's what you're doing by the way. You are
a self-professed Wicken which is a clearly sinful yet you set yourself
up on your high horse and call Dave a homosexual which is also a sin.
You are a hypocrite.

He's your God, too. And, He created the entire universe and he knows
everything down to the count of grains of sand on a beach or hair
follicles on your body. He's omnipotent and he's omniscient. He's given
people choices between good and evil and people have knowledge of good
and evil. The entire world is one big test. So far you've flunked that
test but you can still pass if you care to open your eyes and intellect
to possibilities other than your heathen beliefs.

Ah, the escape route of the uninformed- the liberal use of profanity. .

Saying a leopard never changes his spots is an old saw that is incorrect
when applied to real life situation. People change all the time. Your
hair might start out brown but it ends up gray towards the end of your
life. Your teeth might start out pristine and white but end up full of
carries and yellow. One's physical state has little to do with one's
mental state which also is in a constant state of flux.
Homosexuality is a mental state. The homosexual act is a carnal act
allowed by a mind that is off-track. One can take steps to get one's
mind on the right track. From what I can see, Dave is on the right track
and you are still mired in the bog somewhere out in the boonies. Only
your mind can free you. Open your mind to all possibilities. You do
yourself a diservice belittling and denying something about which you
know so little.

> Dimwit hasn't "chosen" anything. Dimwit is as gay as my hair is
> auburn.

Again you engage in hypocrisy. You accuse Dave of being that which you,
yourself are - a sinner yet you deny the concept of sin. I guess that
makes you an ignorant hypocrite to boot.

Don't worry Shad; many people feel that way when trying to get one over me;
but honestly it's only because it seriously dents their male ego. There's no
big deal involved with it. You'd best just put it behind you and forget it
