"Lloyd Bonafide" should start emailing Harry "the sky is falling" Harris.
They would get along great, telling phony stories about propane.
Neither knows anything about the real number of propane accidents.
Many more people die from electrocution than people die from propane
explosions.

These statistics don't uphold your thesis, especially when the Texas penal
system is not counted:

Propane gas is much more deadly than electricity.
Propane tanker triggered blast
TACOMA, Wash. // An explosion at a foundry was triggered when a propane
tanker burst into flames, touching off a series of other blasts, authorities
said. The Saturday blast sent a fireball into the sky over the Atlas
Castings and Technology foundry. It could take days to find out why the
delivery truck, loaded with 8,000 gallons of propane, exploded, authorities
said. The truck driver, identified as Charles McDonald, 64, was in critical
condition at a Seattle hospital yesterday. Three others injured in the blast
were released from a Tacoma hospital, authorities said. A large, two-axle
portion of the tanker truck blew more than 150 feet into the air and landed
in flames on a highway, state transportation workers told The News Tribune
of Tacoma.

Electricity does not kills hundreds at one time. Electricity can be turned
off, propane cannot.
Do not poo-poo propane on any safety issue.

Good post, good advice and right you are Lloyd. But you are about
the only one around here who doesn't ignore the dangers of propane
and post lame arguments like "gasoline is more dangerous". That's
like having unprotected sex with an AIDS patient and then saying,
"So what, Ebola is more dangerous." Most of the people in this
group are hopelessly pathetic when it comes to basic safety issues.
I don't think I've ever run into a dumber bunch. They must have
ostrich blood in their veins. They stick their heads in the sand
and they think that's gonna protect them from danger.

When my RV is used like a foundry, then I'll worry.

Hell; more people die from doctors mis-diagnosis and incorrect
prescriptions than propane fires. BTW: propane doesn't "evaporate." It's
already a gas once it leaves the bottle. Although, it is heavery than air
by 65% and yes, if you have a propane leak in your RV, you should exit, turn
off the tank, and "sweep" the propane out. Using the anology of water will
go a long way in removing propane from your RV. Oh, and don't smoke while
trying to ventilate your RV.

I wonder if the TWO are really ONE... Same style of BSing about the same
tired old "Everything is dangerous and we shouldn't ever leave the safety of
our houses". Of course no one told him/them that more accidents occur in the
home than in the motorhome...
