The Heater could have a variety of things wrong with it ; it needs to be
professionally serviced if its that old including checking the incoming
gas pressure to the gas valve, as well as the manifold pressure after
the gas valve, the spark ignitor cleaned and adjusted, the flame sensor
cleaned, the pilot burner , main burner(s) , clean the blower wheel, and
tighten all electrical connections. More than likely, doing
maintenance routines as described above will remedy your current
anomoly.
'ok, who do i send it to? is there a good place to mail it? I can have
my AC guy check the presures.. would you happen to know the presures
that are needed? thanks...'
REPLY: Take it to the nearest Camping World service center or an
Independent RV Dealer in your locale. Approx. Propane pressures
required are : 12-13 " w.c. incoming and 9-10" w.c. manifold. The
qualified Service person you take it to will know this info as well as
how to diagnose it and repair it.

Dave, Thanks for the information... Thanks for not addressing this
matter in the like that I am the first typical moron to own an RV
other than Mr. Harris... I will take it to get it serviced or buy a
new unit.. I've seen them on EBay and other websites for 350$ ... that
may be smarter if the repairs are extensive....again thanks for your
help and this thread is SOLVED.
